Ayalim's main goal is to develop the Negev and the Galilee by bringing young people to build their permanent homes in those areas. The student villages serve as good bases of acquaintance with the Area. However, in order to make the students stay in the periphery after their graduation, they need additional help. Therefore, we established the alumni department that offers programs in the field of employment and settlement

Permanent settlement

The process of permanent settlement begins with changing the students' perspective on the region during their time in the village. They begin to form groups while in the village, called a "garin" in Hebrew. After they graduate, the group moves into temporary housing in the location they have chosen. The final step is permanent settlement in the region, which includes buying property.

Currently there are 7 settlement groups in various stages of settlement in the Negev and the Galilee
