Student Villages
The Ayalim Association believes that bringing Israeli students to develop the Negev and the Galilee is of supreme importance – to both those on the giving and receiving end. The Association provides incentives such as scholarships and subsidized housing. In return Israeli students are expected to contribute approximately 500 hours of service to the local community or special projects of the association. After spending so much time in the area, it is not unusual for Israeli students to settle in these areas. The association works together with the Prime Minister’s Office and the Office of the Vice Prime Minister to promote incentives for graduates of the project that wish to remain in the Negev and the Galilee.
At present, the Association lists over 500 students, living in twelve student and entrepreneur villages across the Negev and Galilee. Ayalim’s goal for 2012 is to bring 1,000 students to these villages.
Now that that these unique students villages are open to student's from around the world, you can be part of this amazing group of elite Israeli young adults. You will live, work and celebrate the one-of-a-kind rhythm of Israel.
